went after my win at the Arlberg Bike Marathon it directly via Frankfurt and Boston to the World Cup in Windham, USA. The track in Windham took a ski slope up and then down again, which focused on bridges and North Shore style, which was really fun driving. I had a good start and was in the Top 40 before I had a flat tire in the first downhill and push my bike in the Techzone had. I lost by almost 5 minutes of time and also any chance Points. In the end I came 69ter to the finish.
From Windham went to Mount St. Anne for the World Cup in Canada. I knew the track already from the World Cup, but this year it was a little shorter and the organizers had built a new downhill as a new highlight. But the surprise for me, the temperature is above 30 degrees and the dusty and sandy ground. However, in time for the weekend came the bad weather and the track was slippery and greasy again. I went with the number 44 into the race and tried to start the 2 laps and the following 6 rounds to push me forward. The start was good, but after 500 meters there was a fall and the entire field stopped and thus the race was already almost gone. I did try the front to fight, but the distances were just starting after 2 rounds so great that I came at the end just as 42ter to the finish. With my performance but I'm happy because I had good legs and otherwise it went well but the result could have been better.
