whenever I was in St. Wendel and so far I had there never been a good race. But yesterday at the World Cup for the first time it went pretty well for me. With slightly overcast skies and dry track it was composed of 120 starters in the 108 km and 2500 meters. The first 20-30 miles I had trouble to follow the lead group and I did not even particularly good. Just before the first Target passage I had to leave to leave the first time, but could not close the gap again and rode in the lead group up to kilometer 70, where I lost the connection again. Although I tried to get hold again, but at the pace I had no chance alone. I drove along with Alban Lakata, the eventual champion, but could go with his insane speed only at the beginning and so I tried the last 20 kilometers to reach the finish alone. 10 km from the finish but still completed two drivers, fields and Mugerli up at me and we went together almost to the last climb. I tried again at the new position, which I also managed, but in the end I was overtaken by Feldman and finally as I drove 15 ter the goal. The race was really brutal fast and hard and I am fully satisfied with the performance.
